John Lees
Author and Career Strategist
John Lees is one of the UK’s best known career strategists. He has published 15 books on careers and work including the UK best-seller ‘How to Get a Job You Love’ and his latest, ‘Get Ahead in Your New Job’. His books have been translated into Arabic, Georgian, Polish, Japanese and Spanish.
John was previously Chief Executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants and a founding board member of the Career Development Institute. He holds degrees from the Universities of Cambridge, London and Liverpool and is a NICEC Fellow.
Shiobhaun Watt
Career Change and Redundancy Coach
Shiobhaun is a coach, specialising in career change, redundancy and returning to work after career breaks. She’s seen redundancy from many angles during her 15 year career, managing redundancy projects and understanding the direct impact redundancy has on people. She navigated her own redundancy to make a career change into coaching and is now passionate about helping others reinvent themselves to be the best they can be.
Shiobhaun is accredited with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development to MCIPD status, and has a background in human resources, previously working for Barclays Bank and BAE Systems, in various roles including talent development and senior HR management.
Nicky Redmond
Communications Consultant and Career Changer
Nicky has faced and successfully overcome redundancy three times during her 32 year career. Each time she’s gone through redundancy, she’s dusted herself off, re-examined her pathway and embraced it as an opportunity to find her next exciting project.
Nicky works in conference production, marketing, and internal communications, in the public, private and charitable sector. She now runs her own communication consultancy (ReFocus Communication Ltd), most recently working as a conference director for a global NGO in Paris.
Natasha Stanley
Head Career Coach and Facilitator
Natasha is best known to our audience as the co-creator and leader of our Launch Pad experience, and the primary writer at Careershifters. Through her coaching and facilitation, she’s helped thousands of people to shift into work they love, and is regularly featured in the media. Natasha also leads the ICF-accredited Careershifters coach training programmes.
After five years working from countries around the world, Natasha now “gets paid to be herself”, combining her work at Careershifters with a podcast and side hustle on the art and science of meaningful human connection.
